Our Mission Statement
To assist with the rehabilitation and comfort of confined and hospitalized persons, Alzheimer and cancer patients, those physically challenged and in a rehabilitation centre, as well as mental health patients and those in intermediate and extended care units.
To these ends, we offer interaction with trained, selected pets and their volunteer owners. If called upon by resident therapists, we provide support for their Animal Assisted Therapy Program and other existing therapeutic activities.
Clients or residents can greatly benefit from the enjoyment they receive from the special bond they feel between humans and animals.
