How to Become a Volunteer

Pets and People members come from all walks of life, but they all have one thing in common…a desire to share with others the joy their pets have given them. Most of our visiting pets are dogs, but we also welcome cats and rabbits of friendly disposition.

Before being accepted, of course, your pet must be seen by your own veterinarian and given a clean bill of health. After that, he or she must pass our screening process.

Application forms may be obtained by calling one of these phone numbers: (250) 860-2572 or 762-7052 Once these forms have been completed and returned to Pets and People, you and your pet will be invited to a screening.
